The company did extend my warranty n send a repair man immediately who installed a brand new ice machine that functioned fine So I was impressed with their customer service department. I love my fridge...only thing I dislike are the ice makers. The indoor one freezes up once in a while and you have to give the tray a squeeze and hit the reset button to drop the ice. Craft ice is awesome when its working. It also tends to lock up from time to time. Hitting the reset button works most of the time. 2 years later the craft ice ice tray finally broke and had to get it replaced..good thing got protection plan from Home depot cause LG would do nothing about it but tell you to hit the reset button cause they know its a known issue. But will charge you to fix it cause its out of warranty. Even thou Its a known issue to most consumers...atleast everyone I know knows about the craft ice maker issues. Other than that huge inconvenience...I still love my side by side fridge by LG

Have had the refridgerator less than a year and the Craft Ice maker has failed. I purchased it for the Craft Ice maker feature so its failure is very disappointing. The regular ice maker doesnt produce enough ice no matter what setting is used. The rest of the refridgerator works well. We like the style but again very disappointed with both Ice makers. Also shocked at the price of the water filters whidh seem to last no longer than a month.

I have owned the unit for 5months and the ice maker has only worked for 1 month I have been trying to get the fridge fixed through the LG warranty for 4 months. Requesting a warranty and getting a response the first time worked until the tech tried to fix it and they had sent the wrong part. It has been 2 months and nothing happening to fix the fridge after 2-3 more request to fix the fridge. I would never buy another LG product at any price thinking about throwing my Stove and TV out with the new junk fridge. GL

Well I dont really have an experience with this product since we just moved into our new home and this was a newly installed refrigerator within the home. The water and ice arent dispensing and I called customer service but they wanted to charge almost $400 for someone to come out and find out whats going on. This is our first time using LG products and its disappointing how the customer service did not handle the situation

took delivery of of this fridge in April of 23 . one night in June smelled as if something was burning . unplugged unit for fear of a potential fire while we slept . service tech came out several days later . after checking unit tech said he found nothing wrong but proceeded to replace ice maker . since then no smell of anything burning . however ice maker continues to under perform . ice bin is never full . usually only fills to about one quarter of bin then stops making ice . ice has always and continues to have a metallic taste . i paid cash for the full kitchen suite . fridge oven micro dishwasher . LG got their money up front and I got substandard product . we paid full price . no deals here . only three months of use and this is how it performs ? disappointed to say the least . the dishwasher also has under performed . but thats a different review . at this point one star rating seems more than fair . but its early still .

Just got this new refrigerator and ice maker already broke. And get this when you scan the qrcode the Refrigerator days it has a bottom freezer when is a French door side by side so all the parts come in wrong and nobody can fix it nobody that can help the LG corporate and nobody can say I can get the right sticker to put in there so it will scan correctly so Im stuck with the refrigerator that when you scan it and they order parts they come for the different refrigerator on freaking believable. The refrigerator still broke I got it in December the ice makers now been broke for over a month because they keep getting the wrong parts now they have to replace the door because its all got a short in it and the ice maker they sent this is the third one is still the wrong one that keeps sending the bottom ice maker when this is a door ice maker side by side Dont even ask me about LGs service online that is where you have to go first OMG

I bought my refrigerator and it was delivered on January 29th 2023. Soon after I realized the ice machine would not dispense the ice. Fine no big deal I thought I had a technician come out and say I would have to get a new freezer door it came in and it was installed on 2/24/23 and the ice maker still isnt working. Now they have to order a new board for the mechanical part of the ice maker. Well now that the new door is on the gasket is not closing my freezer all the way and iceing over my freezer and all the stuff in it. When I contacted LG this morning 2/27/23 they declined to help fix the problem till the other part is fixed. I asked for a new refrigerator instead of messing around because Im throwing things away from the fridge at this point because of the issue and they will not do nothing to help resolve the issue. Im fed up and annoyed with there terrible customer service and product. I have lost time from my job to have someone come and fix it and now food also. You think new fridge no problems nope not with this refrigerator DO NOT BUY

I am happy with everything with the exception that the doors open too wide We have a tight space for the refrigerator and had an older full size french door that opened fully and no issues. This is a counter depth and had to cut off a 1 1/2 inches off my counter top so we could open the doors Even with that the freezer door will not open fully and hits the wall

We purchased this Craft Ice Refrigerator 2 years ago and had someone from LG to come out to work on the craft ice motor 2 separate times. In September it broke a 3rd time. Again no Craft Ice Weve had nothing but problems with this refrigerator. I emailed upper management the response was that they were sorry that we have had problems with the Craft Ice and thanked me so they could better their product. Im sure LG will say that I should have purchased the expensive warranty but we should not have had this problem so soon after we bought the refrigerator the 1st time it broke was within a year.

Great except for one little flaw

I love LG..I own the LG Frontloader washer and dryer and my new Fridge is an addition into my LG family of appliances. The only issue I have with this particular fridge is the Ice Tray on the outside of the freezer door. Theres no tray on the bottom where you would place your glass/cup the tray would catch the falling ice/water so the crushed ice sprays all over and chunks fall all over the floor. Do you provide an ice tray as an accessory?

like the concept of this but within days of delivery the freezer is frosted up on the inside bad enough frost and ice fall on the floor when the door is opened. service has changed the door seal 3 times with no change. now they want to replace the door. two months of waiting for positive results or replacement only getting delays. have read other reviews with the same problem. makes one wonder.

We purchased this one because it was perfect for our space. It looks great. The door water and ice dispenser has leaked since we purchased it. It was installed August 8 and now we have to wait until Sept 2 for a replacement. Not sure why a tech wasnt sent out to possibly troubleshoot? Contacted LG and was told would reach out 24 - 48 hours well here we are now 8/14 and still LG has not reached out. My concern is that once its replaced what if there is a new issue? I dont see how this can be good for business. .I only give it 3 stars because of the leak and lack of concern from LG.

I bought this refrigerator in but could not get it until July 7th. I specifically said that the width had to be less than 35 7/8. The one that I was shown was 35 4/5. The one delivered was 35 15/16 wow. Currently sitting in the middle of kitchen waiting for adjustments to walls to accommodate the refrigerator. The freezer is not freezing the ice cream.
